This video is the second within a series of videos related to my experiences with trying the 7 day Cabbage Soup Diet. This is also known as Wonder soup, Peel-and Pound, and a Detoxing soup.

I decided to do this diet after seeing a Facebook friend's great results (thanks Kimberly), in the Snatched Gang Facebook private group. This weight loss support group was created by Olivia Patrice right here on YouTube. (Check out Olivia's channel by the way, she is super inspiring BTW!)

I liked this idea because it was all natural, meaning no pills or gimmicks, and it essentially allows fruits and vegetables. I wanted to lose 5-10 lbs to and get out of the 260's. Before doing this, I had already been working out and eating healthier.

After seeing Kim's results, I did some research right here on the YT and I came across 3 channels/videos that inspired my way of doing the soup.

1) This is the shortest one and the recipe that I used.

2) This was one that explained the effects of the diet with the recipe and this helped me to understand that there was a meal plan to follow beyond the soup.

3) And this channel SOLD me on doing it. Shaneil recorded her experience from start to finish with a series of videos, which helped me to see that the results were real. I watched all of her videos on this. I am sharing day 7.

This is My Version of the Cabbage Soup:

2 TBSP of Pink Himalayan Salt (this is optional, please taste your broth as it simmers)
32 Ounces of Water
32 Ounces of Vegetable Broth
32 ounces of chicken broth
1 Large Head of Cabbage
1 Bell pepper
1 White Onion
1 1/2 cup of sliced Baby Carrots
3 stalks of celery diced
2 cloves of garlic
Mrs. Dash- Onions and Herb (to taste)
Mrs. Dash- Tomato and Basil (to taste)
Oregano- To Taste
Basil- To Taste
2 TBSP of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

You can definitely add more of the veggies to stretch your soup out.
